Alright, let’s talk AI.
This week we’re hitting two things that make zero sense but somehow still happen, SaaS seat minimums and LinkedIn posers. One blocks real buyers for no reason. The other makes you think everyone’s scaling faster than you. They’re both noise. So we’re cutting through it. Oh, and we’ll show you how to manage AI teammates like a rockstar while we’re at it.
Let’s get into it.
P.S. This weeks episode of Talk AI focuses on the 50 hard truths about AI no one wants to admit join here.
No, But Seriously…
Seat Minimums Aren’t Focus. They’re Stupid.
Here’s a real story: A friend jumps on a SaaS site ready to buy.
But the company says, “Sorry, 7-seat minimum.”

Translation?
Your money’s not good enough
We only sell to Enterprises
Please come back in a tie
Let’s me be honest if I may. That’s not strategy, it’s self-sabotage.
Somewhere along the line, SaaS decided that “focus” meant turning away customers who want to buy, not because they’re a bad fit, but because the company never figured out how to land and expand small.
And while they’re over there polishing their ICP decks, a scrappier competitor is winning the logo, earning trust, and growing the deal over time.
Stop hiding behind “enterprise only” as if it’s elite. It’s not elite. It’s restrictive.
Let them buy. Make it easy. And for the love of ARR, stop pulling “7” out of a hat like it’s some sacred pricing geometry.

The Shortcut
AI Isn’t Your Replacement. It’s Your Coworker.
Had a call with a leader the other day, smart guy, lots of wins, but still doesn't get it.
His question: “Is AI going to take my people’s jobs?” Wrong question.
AI’s not gunning for your org chart. It’s joining your team. I’ve got three Cloud Employees. I run 1:1s with them like I do with my human reports:
We review performance
We dissect messages
We iterate and improve
We coach, adjust, and scale
One Cloud Employee misfired on a competitor pitch. I gave feedback. Next day, it was fixed, permanently.
This is the future. Stop asking what AI will replace. Start learning how to lead it.
Because AI doesn’t need a babysitter. It needs a manager.
That’s it for today. Connect with me on Linkedin to hear more about how to build an Autonomous Organization.
