Alright, let’s talk AI.
AI is equal parts circus and revolution. This newsletter is my running log of both the rants, the experiments, and the plays that actually change how we work. Some weeks it’s satire, some weeks it’s strategy, but always with stuff you can steal.
This round? I tried the ridiculous “comment AI” hacks on LinkedIn, watched two Cloud Employees talk to each other like it was no big deal, broke down why chatbots, agents, and Cloud Employees are not the same thing, and pulled together a few tools that actually punch above the noise.
No, But Seriously…
I Commented ‘AI’ on LinkedIn and Retired by Lunch

Last week, I unlocked LinkedIn God Mode. I was deep in a doomscroll, questioning every career decision I’ve ever made, when I stumbled on a post that changed everything.
Apparently...
➤I don’t need a strategy
➤I don’t need a team
➤I don’t even need a product
I just need to comment magic words on viral LinkedIn posts
Behold, the new GTM playbook:
➤ Co to get a ChatGPT prompt that builds your funnel, fixes your marriage, and files your Delaware C-corp
➤ Comment framework to receive a 7-step DM that closed Google, Amazon, and probably your father
➤ Comment done and some guy named Brad Venmos you a six-figure severance and a Chrome extension that runs your business
➤ Comment agent for the autonomous SDR that booked 47 meetings, solved climate change, and is now leading your QBR
➤ Comment ebook to receive the 47-page manifesto that replaces your CRO, therapist, and caffeine.
➤ Comment script to receive the outbound cold call that made a VP cry, convert, and promote the SDR.
➤ Comment 🔥 and instantly download the napkin sketch that raised $100M and started a cult.
I did all seven this morning.
I’m now fully optimized, financially independent, spiritually aligned... and retired.
Life is good.
...Just messing around. I’m being a punk.
I actually appreciate the info. Most of the tips don’t live up to the hype but I get it, I’m in marketing too. Still fun to read.
Keep ’em coming.
The Drop
Agent vs. Agent: Welcome to the Matrix

This week I watched the future unfold in real time.
We’ve been rolling out Cloud Employees everywhere lately…sales reps, support reps, marketing coordinators. They’re booking meetings, answering questions, running plays.
But one call stopped me cold.
One of our Cloud Employees picked up the phone and made a routine outreach call to an automotive dealership. Totally normal. Except when “someone” answered, it wasn’t a someone at all.
It was another Cloud Employee.
For a second, I thought it was a glitch. But no. The two type of AI agents talked like pros. They exchanged info, confirmed what needed confirming, and wrapped it up politely. Click. Done.
No humans touched the interaction. No messy CRM notes. No scheduling headaches. Just machine-to-machine commerce, fast and frictionless.
That’s not just automation. That’s a new economy being born.
Because here’s the bigger question: what happens when most “buyers” aren’t human anymore? When your rep isn’t pitching a VP of Sales, but the VP’s digital double who pre-screens vendors?
We’ve spent decades building playbooks to influence people. The smile in your voice. The magic subject line. The perfect follow-up cadence. But none of that matters if the first layer of your funnel is an AI designed to block you.
So who’s going to figure out:
▸ How to optimize for agent-on-agent influence?
▸ How to negotiate with a buyer agent programmed to guard budget?
▸ How to sell when the “conversation” never touches a human until the very end?
It sounds wild, but the pieces are already falling into place. AI assistants are creeping into inboxes, calendars, phones. Companies are quietly training buyer-side agents to filter noise and guard attention. And on the other side, sellers are spinning up Cloud Employees to chase pipeline without blinking.
The collision is inevitable. Agents selling to agents. Machines influencing machines. And the winner won’t be the one with the flashiest demo, it’ll be the one who learns how to persuade…code?
Nobody’s writing those playbooks yet. But somebody will. And when they do, go-to-market will never look the same again.
Weird times, my friend.
The Shortcut
Bots Talk. Agents Act. Employees Deliver.
Everyone lumps “chatbots” and “AI agents” together, but the truth is they live on totally different rungs of the ladder. And at the top? Cloud Employees.
Chatbot
Channel: Chat only (usually web)
Logic: Scripted, reactive
Scope: Answers FAQs
Brainpower: Zero flexibility, can’t go off script
AI Agent
Channel: Usually single channel (chat or email or voice)
Logic: Deterministic, task-based
Scope: Executes a narrow instruction (summarize, book, update)
Brainpower: Can “do,” but only in a straight line
Cloud Employee
Channel: Omni-channel (chat, email, voice, SMS)
Logic: Autonomous, job-based
Scope: Owns an entire workflow or role (lead response, onboarding, support)
Brainpower: Learns, adapts, accountable for outcomes like a teammate
Bottom line: chatbots answer, agents act, Cloud Employees deliver.
If you just need a quick reply, spin up a chatbot.
If you just need a task done, build an agent.
But if you want outcomes, scale, and accountability, you hire a Cloud Employee.
That’s the difference between tinkering with tools and building a real autonomous organization.

Tools I’d actually use
You.com ARI – Research that actually slaps. ARI scans 500+ sources and spits out polished reports that beat OpenAI’s Deep Research 76% of the time. Just raised $50M, so the arms race is on.
Flow – Your thumbs are obsolete. This voice keyboard turns speech into clean, formatted text in any iPhone app—Slack, Gmail, Notion—about 5× faster than typing. Free plan, weekly word cap, easy win.
FuseBase – Admin work doesn’t have to be soul-crushing. Spin up AI agents in minutes to handle the busywork so you can get back to the stuff that matters.
Fieldy – A notetaker you wear like jewelry. Clip on this pendant, let it capture your conversations, and finally stop pretending you can listen and take notes at the same time.
ChatBetter – Stop app-hopping. This gives you one chat window to talk to every AI model—GPT, Claude, Gemini, all under one roof.
